For part 1, you can take as long as you would like, typically 6-10 minutes. Part 2 is a 12 minute, timed assessment and will be sent in a separate email from Predictive Index.

We don’t want to put someone in a position that will drain them of energy over time. PI is one piece of the equation for hiring. Included in this determination for fit for a job are the head (PI assessments), the heart (core values), and briefcase (education, skills, experience).

Behavioral Assessment:

  • There are no right or wrong answers – it’s not a test.
  • Read instructions carefully and use your own judgment to answer questions. If you do not understand a particular word, skip it.
  • The assessment should have your full concentration, so limit or remove any possible distractions.

Cognitive Assessment:

  • This is a 12-minute, timed assessment that includes verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning questions.
  • The assessment should have your full concentration, so limit or remove any possible distractions.
  • Read instructions carefully and use your own judgment to answer questions.
  • The Predictive Index Cognitive Assessment does not measure intelligence, education, or experience. It simply measures a person’s capacity to learn, adapt and grasp new concepts.
  • Don't stress on this one! You do not have to complete it in time to be successful! Answer as many questions as you can, as accurately as you can.
