Generally, you can expect to pay between $6-$12 per inch of width for clear, non-printed films. Some factors to consider include minimum order quantities, your film width, customizations such as an antifog barrier, and stock sizes (less expensive than custom).

Perforated films have a pattern of pin-holes to help vent air when moving product through a shrink tunnel. The perforated film gives a more consistent release of air during the shrinking process, and the holes are nearly invisible to the naked eye.
The gauge, or thickness, of your film, is measured by the amount of pressure you want to apply towards your product while keeping it protected and unbroken. A lighter gauge works best for lightweight products, while thicker gauges are better for heavy or oddly-shaped products or products with sharper edges.
Lead times can range anywhere from 2 weeks to 13 weeks in some cases. It's important to plan ahead and keep in touch with your supplier early and often! The production of your materials is going to be based on the availability of materials at the manufacturer, and their production schedule. Keep this in mind when placing orders.
